Aporte del clúster de la salud en el Valle del Cauca en lo referente a investigación, tecnología e innovación en los últimos tres (3) años

Abstract

According to the Chamber of Commerce of Valle del Cauca, the clusters have been the main drivers of the economic growth of the department, with sales equivalent to 51.1% of GDP in 2016. Taking into account the above information, the general objective of the project was to identify the contributions generated by the health cluster in Valle Del Cauca regarding research, technology and innovation in the last three (3) years. To achieve the objective, information was gathered by consulting books, electronic scientific journals, essays, and brochures related to the health cluster, and of more theories supporting the present investigation, in order to have a clear idea and in what state is the scientific research .11 It was found that thanks to the articulated work that has been done between the companies and the academic community with respect to the health sector, capital has been channeled to finance high-level research, the Valle del Cauca now has greater capacities of high knowledge, This intellectual group is essential to have more innovative firms. In addition, Health Tourism grows at great speed throughout the world. Given that 750,000 Americans received treatment abroad during 2007, and between 6 and 7 million did so for 2014. Due to its geographical proximity and differential cost of Colombia with the United States has a huge potential to be a recipient of these flows. That is to say, the health cluster is a set of dynamic character that is creating the basis for strategies that act as a driving force, achieving improvement and innovation in the companies that constitute it.

Según la Cámara de Comercio de Valle del Cauca, los clúster han sido los principales impulsadores del crecimiento económico del departamento, con ventas equivalentes a 51,1% del PIB en 2016. Teniendo en cuenta la información anterior el objetivo general del proyecto fue identificar los aportes que ha generado el clúster de la salud en el Valle Del Cauca en lo referente a investigación, tecnología e innovación en los últimos tres (3) años. Para lograr el objetivo, se recolectó información consultando libros, revistas electrónicas científicas, ensayos, y folletos relacionados al clúster de salud, y de más teorías que sustenten la presente investigación, para así tener una idea clara y en qué estado se encuentra la investigación científica. Se pudo encontrar que gracias al trabajo articulado que se ha hecho entre las empresas y la comunidad académica con respecto al sector salud, se ha logrado encaminar capital para financiar investigaciones de alto nivel, el Valle del Cauca cuenta hoy con mayores capacidades de alto conocimiento, este conjunto intelectual es primordial para contar con firmas más innovadoras. Además, Turismo de Salud crece a gran velocidad en todo el mundo. Dado que 750.000 estadounidenses recibieron tratamiento en el exterior durante el año 2007, y entre 6 y 7 millones lo hicieron para el 2014. Por su cercanía geográfica y diferencial de costos de Colombia con los Estados Unidos tiene un enorme potencial de ser receptor de estos flujos. Es decir, el clúster de salud es un conjunto de carácter dinámico que está creando la base para estrategias que actúan como una fuerza motriz, logrando el mejoramiento y la innovación en las empresas que lo constituyen.
