dc.description.abstractEducation, being a transforming axis of the social and historical context of a society that lives in constant movement and evolution, is one of the means that has been used to generate the illustration of the population and thus be able to direct it towards different interests that have existed for part of the spheres of power that direct societies, for this reason, pedagogical practice should aim to train teachers who can in turn generate in their students critical thinking that leads them to analyze, express opinions or differ based on their own ideas and arguments in the same way that it has served generations of thoughtful and transformative citizens active in a community; On the part of the significant experiences that the practice students have had, the way in which they are reflected in society is taken into account. Nowadays, learning and using a language is one of the basic skills for our new century and due to the media that all people is exposed to, finding a proper way to expand thinking even further beyond one country's border has become a reality that is mandatory to face and this has brought new challenges to people's living, thus finding the proper way in not just learning a language but what is more important is to use it properly, to have the background to understand the use of languages and all the different scenarios where it takes a key role; the concept of identity challenges ,teachers and researchers with certain complications, because, since the construction of itself is context-dependent and context-producing (Norton & Toohey, 2011), teachers and researchers are called to do systematic and careful observations of learners’ interactions and performances. Analyzing the kind of world that humanity has built and all the different barriers that exists today, understanding the way of thinking and culture of other's people is a crucial ability that is required due to the process of globalization that is present in all the different spaces today, applied linguistic is an area or work that deals with language use in professional settings, translations, speech pathology, litteracy and language education (Quang, 2007) taking into account the relevant aspects that involves the use of applied linguistic and its huge impact into the reality of every single country in the world, it is based to say the relevance that it presents, therefore the context should be analyze to find if language itself is affected by it or if the process is in the contrary and is language the one that affects the context. (McCarthey and Moje 2002) The different ideas, activities, research and classes that are thought by the preservice teachers are a way in how education can be guided and transformed in our current context providing a path to contemplate and reflect on the experiences that affects reality.eng
