| dc.description.abstract | El concepto de "Hospitales Verdes" está emergiendo como una solución innovadora que
tiene el potencial de transformar el futuro del sector salud. Estos hospitales están diseñados
para minimizar el impacto ambiental y promover la sostenibilidad, utilizando tecnologías
avanzadas y prácticas ecológicas. En el artículo "El Futuro de la Salud con los Hospitales
Verdes", se destacan diversas estrategias y beneficios que los hospitales verdes pueden
aportar a la sociedad.
Además de los beneficios ambientales, los hospitales verdes también tienen un impacto
positivo en la salud. Un estudio del National Institute of Health resalta que "los hospitales
diseñados con espacios verdes y naturales pueden reducir el estrés de los pacientes y
acelerar los tiempos de recuperación" (NIH, 2022). La integración de jardines terapéuticos
y áreas verdes dentro del diseño hospitalario proporciona un entorno calmante y curativo.
La responsabilidad social corporativa juega un papel importante en la adopción de
hospitales verdes. La Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) destaca que "los hospitales
que adoptan prácticas sostenibles demuestran un compromiso con la salud global y el
bienestar ambiental, lo que mejora su reputación y fomenta la confianza pública" (OMS,
2023).
El objetivo general de este artículo es analizar y explorar cómo la implementación de
"Hospitales Verdes" puede transformar el futuro de la salud, mejorando la sostenibilidad
ambiental, la eficiencia energética y la calidad de la atención médica. Se busca destacar
las innovaciones, prácticas y tecnologías ecológicas que están revolucionando el sector
hospitalario, y cómo estos cambios pueden conducir a un sistema de salud más resiliente,
sostenible y beneficioso tanto para los pacientes como para el medio ambiente. | spa |

practices. In the article "The Future of Health with Green Hospitals", various strategies and
benefits that green hospitals can contribute to society are highlighted.
In addition to environmental benefits, green hospitals also have a positive impact on health.
A study by the National Institute of Health highlights that "hospitals designed with green and
natural spaces can reduce patient stress and speed recovery times" (NIH, 2022). The
integration of therapeutic gardens and green areas within the hospital design provides a
calming and healing environment.
Corporate social responsibility plays an important role in the adoption of green hospitals.
The World Health Organization (WHO) highlights that "hospitals that adopt sustainable
practices demonstrate a commitment to global health and environmental well-being, which
improves their reputation and fosters public trust" (WHO, 2023).
The overall objective of this article is to analyze and explore how the implementation of
"Green Hospitals" can transform the future of healthcare, improving environmental
sustainability, energy efficiency and the quality of healthcare. It seeks to highlight the green
innovations, practices and technologies that are revolutionizing the hospital sector, and how
these changes can lead to a more resilient, sustainable and beneficial health system for
