La evidencia disponible en esta población es escasa y heterogénea. dc.description.abstractenglishAdolescence is a period of active endocrine, metabolic, and immunological maturation that distinguishes this population physiologically from adults. Although the relationship between physical exercise and immunity is well documented in adults, its characterization in healthy adolescents remains fragmented and unsystematized, which justifies a structured mapping of the available evidence. This scoping review aimed to map the scientific evidence on physical exercise and immune response in healthy adolescents aged 10 to 19 years. Primary studies published between 2015 and 2025 were included if they measured immunological biomarkers using validated techniques, with no language restriction. Studies based on self-report, lacking an explicit methodological design, or without retrievable full text were excluded. Searches were conducted in PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Embase, SPORTDiscus, and ScienceDirect between August and November 2025, supplemented by manual reference screening. The process followed the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodology and reported according to PRISMA-ScR guidelines. Methodological quality was not appraised, as the aim was to map the evidence rather than estimate efficacy. Of 604 records identified, 251 duplicates were removed; 437 were screened by title and abstract, 15 advanced to full-text review, and 2 met all inclusion criteria. Both studies reported transient immunological changes associated with exercise, modulated by intensity, duration, and biological maturation stage. The most frequently reported biomarkers were IL-6, TNF-α, leukocyte count, and the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio. The available evidence in this population is scarce and heterogeneous.
